Community Mental Health Centers

Each geographical area has a community mental health center that serves the residents who live within its boundaries.  These non-profit agencies are funded by such bodies as the State of Illinois, the United Way, townships, and donations.The centers usually have a sliding scale fee and will accept Medicare and Medicaid.
